Waterlogic Bushfire Relief

The impact of the bushfire crisis is deeply felt. We have been moved to help those affected, while giving every staff member the chance to feel that their everyday work shapes our overall contribution.

Below is a range of initiatives that have been implemented.

Donating proceeds from January sales

On 7 January, we announced our commitment to donate 100% of the first month’s rental fee from all new rentals signed in January.

In total we are donating $28,350 which will be dispersed between the Red Cross and Foodbank.

As a result, $18,944 will be donated to the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery fund to support humanitarian aid on the ground across all affected states.

A further $9,406 will be donated to the Foodbank Bushfire Emergency Relief Appeal, to help distribute food and water to bushfire-hit communities.

Staff fundraising

The Perth office held fundraising activities including a team BBQ, which raised $391 to be donated to the Volunteer Bush Fire Fighters fund.

Jaime and Alice organised a Raffle, which raised $392.40 to be donated to the Australian Red Cross.

With the Waterlogic Group (Australasia) matching this fantastic effort dollar-for-dollar, this equates to a total of $1,566.80 going towards the above bushfire relief efforts.

Donating drinking dispensers

The Waterlogic Group has donated 15 POU dispensers to be distributed among venues or groups in need.

We are currently in contact with the Rural Fire Service and Country Fire Authority to discuss which fire control centres and district headquarters require such equipment.

We hope these dispensers can provide some aid to the staff members and volunteers of these brave firefighting organisations.

Emergency rent relief

Available to all our customers in bushfire affected areas, including businesses and volunteer firefighters, we’re fast-tracking related enquiries and helping impacted customers with their account fees wherever possible.
