Waterlogic technical FAQs

Keep your Waterlogic unit in great condition by cleaning the outside surfaces between services from your Waterlogic technician with our specially formulated sanitiser spray. This surface disinfectant is easy to use with no rinsing required, and is DAFF approved for use in food service areas.

It depends on the unit’s usage and performance, but we recommend you replace your filters at least once every year.

If there is ever a problem or issue with your POU water dispenser, we aim to repair or replace your system as soon as possible.

Waterlogic dispensers include carbon multi-filtration or reverse osmosis systems, UV purification and BioCote® anti-microbial protection. Carbon filtration works to remove chlorine and waterbourne bad tastes and odours. UV Purification is positioned at the point of dispense and destroys 99.9999% bacteria, including E.Coli, Salmonella and Hepatitis. All Waterlogic dispensers are BioCote® protected on the outside and the inside, which protects against against surface germs and last but not least, Reverse Osmosis works to provide a higher level of filtration and removes particles such as acid, salts, nitrates, pesticides and arsenic, to name a few.

If you have access to a mains water supply, we can install a Waterlogic water cooler. You'll be spoilt for choice when you see our range but our water experts can advise the best options for your needs.

We advise that installations must be carried out by a qualified service technician. Failure to do so could result in future complications and it is important that you are quickly connected to an endless supply of fresh drinking water.

If the mains-fed water cooler is disturber in any way, it will automatically turn off the water and display the message "tank overfill." To reset, simply unplug and plug it back in.

Allow the system 10 minutes to process and refill the reserve tank.

If the service light comes on, it means your cooler needs a service soon. This does not mean your water is no longer safe to drink, but you can contact us for a service request.

First, make sure you are pressing both red buttons at the same time. Then, check the switch on the back left side of the machine to make sure it is in the "on" position. Allow the system 20 minutes to fill. The hot tank needs the main tank to be at least half full before it can produce hot water.

You may have run out of CO2. Our dispensers use Food Grade CO2 gas to carbonate your water, this is provided in a compact cylinder that fits within the base of the dispenser or underbench. The CO2 can be easily changed when empty by unplugging the old cylinder and replacing it. Each cylinder lasts between three to six months depending on usage.

Ensure that the mains water supply to the machine is working correctly and that the machine is turned on.

Make sure that the green heater/compressor switch at the rear of the machine is turned on and the machine has power.

It could be that your filter is blocked. Please contact us to check when your last service was completed.

This may occur if the machine has not been used for a long period of time. Dispense 5 litres into a jug to flush out the system.

If you detect water leaking from your Waterlogic product, turn off the water supply immediately, disconnect the power plug from the wall socket and contact us.

Check that the machine is connected to the mains electricity supply and that the red power switch is turned on. Check that the power cord is securely fitted to the socket at the rear of the machine. Ensure your mains power outlet is working.

This may be caused by a recent filter change or service. Dispense 5 litres into a jug to flush out the system.

This may indicate the UV globe requires replacement. Please contact us.

This may be caused by over-use. Wait 30 minutes for the machine to recover. If this occurs regularly, contact us to discuss an upgrade to a unit with greater volume capacity.
